About Event

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a media organization which posts talks online under the slogan “Ideas worth Spreading”. TED was founded in 1984 as a conference which has been held annually since 1990. The main goal of TED is giving space to people to present ideas on a large variety of subjects. They tend to be people that are very successful in their field and have some project, product, concept or experience that supports the presented idea. It’s a huge platform for individuals to actually speak out their experiences, life goals, passion etc. And this is broadcasted online and anyone with an internet connection can actually stream it without any expenses. TED talks can really change our perspective and make us understand a lot of things in a way we haven't experienced before.

TEDx is a program that runs under the international community that organizes TED style event. At a TEDx event, video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection elevating the locally driven ideas to the global platform. TEDx events are produced independently, each event curates speakers on their own but based on TED’s format and rules. By organizing a TEDx event you can create a unique gathering in your community that will unleash new ideas, inspire and stimulate.
